How Donnington grew, and why it matters for your heating

Donnington is home to MOD Donnington. The site was chosen in 1936, and around 1,500 houses were later built nearby for the civilian staff, many of whom had moved up from Woolwich. Muxton, the other half of the parish, has Granville Country Park on its southern edge. The parish had 13,950 residents at the 2021 census.
